Restorative Justice Coordinator:

Victoria Goodson received her Master of Art’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, minor in Family Studies, and a certificate in Dispute Resolution with Life Skills Focus. In addition, she has worked as a Mediation Coordinator for UNCG’s Landlord-Tenant Dispute Program, a Co-Mediator and Teaching Assistant with The Mediation Center of the Southern Piedmont in NC, and worked at Atrium Health as a Senior Psychiatric Technician. Victoria believes that through understanding, empathy, and compassion, students will be able to build positive and supported relationships.

Through collaboration with key stakeholders, any affiliated person(s) with Rutgers – New Brunswick has the opportunity to transform their relationships and perspective, to manage conflict and repair harm. Victoria is passionate about providing services centered around Restorative Justice Practices; and is committed to transforming, repairing, educating, and empowering Rutgers community members.

When she is not working, Victoria enjoys hiking, backpacking, ski/snowboarding, archery, horseback riding, and traveling.
