Dean of Students

The Campus Dean and Dean of Students work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff creating vibrant and inclusive communities on each campus. Our goal is to nurture a sense of belonging among all members of each community. In pursuit of this goal, we draw on the intellectual interests of our faculty and utilize the knowledge and expertise of our Student Affairs professionals. Most importantly, the limitless energies, ideas, and passions of our students will become one engaging campus community.

The Dean of Students assists in the coordination of helpful and efficient student services (such as housing, residence life, counseling centers), develops culturally and ideologically diverse programs, as well as advises campus student government (Campus Councils) and other student leaders. Equally important, Deans of Students assist students having difficulties due to reasons beyond her or his control; whether due to medical, emotional, psychological, familial or financial reasons.
